Our MEDIS-ALARM database comprises detailed information about classification and characteristics of more than 8700 dangerous chemicals.
MEDIS-ALARMS includes:
all the chemicals from the Czech "List of obligatory classified dangerous chemicals" (Seznam závazně klasifikovaných nebezpečných chemických látek) according to regulation No. 369/2005 Sb., including oil products and derivatives listed there. You can also see their classification according to regulations for transport of dangerous goods.
all the chemicals that are quoted and classified as dangerous according to ADR/RID, version 2009, including information about recommended package
many other chemicals quoted in various regulations concerning pesticides, biocides, health protection at work etc.

MEDIS-ALARM is divided into 8 chapters:
Identification and classification data - CAS numbers, EINECS numbers, index numbers, classification of the chemical according to current legislation, basic identification according to agreements ADR, RID, IMDG and IATA
Basic characteristics and means of fire suppression - flammability and reactivity of the chemical, means of fire suppression and other procedures at the place of an accident, means of disposal
Physical and chemical properties - melting point, boiling point, density, solubility, vapour pressure etc
Transport and storage
First aid and medical treatment - signs of poisoning and first-aid instructions
Toxicity - toxicological and ecotoxicological information, mutagenic potential, cancerogenesis, reproduction toxicity etc
Legislation - data - specific numbers for the individual chemicals, as they result from appropriate regulations (hygiene limits etc.)
Legislation - regulations - notations of the chemical in the current legislation
What is new in 108D version:
A new chapter was included, called LEGISLATION-DATA, with specific numbers for the individual chemicals, as they result from appropriate regulations. LEGISLATION-REGULATIONS is a separate chapter - list of regulations concerning the chemical
The first step into the GHS was made: the classification was assigned (table with classification and H-clauses) according to a draft of the Regulation of the European Parliament concerning the GHS
changes, cancellations and additions of the new items were included according to a Regulation of the European Commision 2008/58/ES (30. amendment 67/548/EHS)
note, if the chemical has been pre-registred according to REACH until the 1st October 2008
the amendment of Attachments IV and V of the REACH (was issued as a Regulation of the European Commision 987/2008/ES)
